Payne Furnace

Payne Heating & Cooling was founded in 1914 when D.W. Payne and his son began building gravity-type furnaces in a converted barn in Los Angeles. Payne is responsible for a number of innovations along the way. Perhaps they’re best known for pioneering perimeter and zone heating in the year 1950.

Today, Payne maintains a simple line of highly efficient and dependable products such as air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, indoor coils, duct-free splits, and small packaged products.

Payne prides itself on promising their Gas Furnace owners:

  1. Efficient, Lasting Comfort
Payne’s four-pass heat exchanger ensures high-efficiency heating throughout your home. This key component is built to last and also backed by a twenty-year limited warranty.
  2. Smooth Operation, Minimal Vibrations
You’ll relax in quiet comfort thanks to a soft mounted inducer motor which minimizes noisy vibrations normally associated with a gas furnace.
  3. Quiet, Reliable Start-up
A slow-opening gas valve quietly starts the heating cycle as needed, allowing one to enjoy the warm comfort of your home without distractions.
  4. Money-Saving Efficiency
Payne hot surface ignition improves the efficiency of furnace start-up and operation by eliminating the standing pilot light. This efficiency translates to energy savings which put dollars in your pocket.
  5. Attractive Finish
The pre-painted, scratch-resistant cabinet resists corrosion, thus allowing your furnace to always look like new as the years progress.
  6. Precise Comfort Control
Owners can bank on accurate furnace control and performance with Payne’s reliable electronic control board that monitors furnace operation.
  7. Easy Maintenance
Cleaning or changing the furnace filter regularly greatly reduces the need for required maintenance of the system. You’ll find the air filter to be easily accessible in every Payne furnace.
